Festividad Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi El Corpus Christi es una de las fiestas más antiguas de la isla de Tenerife. Alfombras creadas con diferentes materiales como flores, sal de colores, semillas, trazas de madera, etc. Todo ello para lograr el mayor colorido de cada una de éstas alfombras para celebrar ésta festividad tan especial para el municipio de San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Una festividad con origen en Bélgica en 1264, pero su celebración no llegó a Canarias hasta el año 1496. Se ha convertido en un día importante para el municipio, en el que se agrupan muchísimos visitantes para el disfrute hecho arte que se respira en varias calles de La Laguna.
