Plaza de La Concepción con torre de la Iglesia al fondo. Adosada a la iglesia parroquial más antigua de la isla, trasladada desde la orilla de la antigua laguna hacia su ubicación actual en 1515. Su elemento más destacable, la torre de La Concepción, se ha convertido en el elemento arquitectónico emblemático de la ciudad y su casco patrimonial por méritos propios.

Plaza de La Concepción and the church tower in the background. Attached to the oldest parish church on the island and moved from its older location, next to the ancient lake (called "Laguna" in spanish) in 1515. Its most remarkable detail is the tower of La Concepción. It has become the architectural symbol of the city and its historic heritage on its own merits.
